Super fast WordPress hosting!

I just signed up for their Managed WordPress Hosting and I am so happy with it! The speed improvements on my site were almost instant. Setup was a breeze, and I love that it included a free SSL. Definitely recommending SiteGround to all my friends who need reliable hosting, I'll be back for sure!

Good performance, solid features

I bought their GrowBig plan for a new e-commerce project. The ordering process was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear pricing. Setting up WordPress with their WP Starter wizard was very quick. I migrated my existing domain without any issues. Their SuperCacher made a noticeable difference in page load times, which is critical for an online store. I used their Staging Environment feature a couple of times for testing updates, and it worked perfectly, saved me a headache. Support response time was excellent when I had a question about PHP versions; got a helpful reply in under 10 minutes. The daily backups are a nice safety net. It's not the cheapest, but the features and speed make it a solid choice.

My site loaded quicker

Needed to move my little craft blog and heard good things about SiteGround. Signed up for Shared Web Hosting, pretty easy process. My old host was so slow, but this one is definitely snappier. Support helped me out when I had a tiny hiccup with the email migrator. All in all, a good experience.

Reliable hosting, minor gripes

I moved my personal portfolio site to SiteGround's Shared Web Hosting a few months ago. The website migration was free and surprisingly smooth; they handled most of it, which was a huge plus. My site has been stable and fast, no downtime reported, which is great for the price I paid with the introductory discount. Customer service was responsive when I needed help with a .htaccess file, though it took about 15 minutes to connect with someone. The main thing is that the renewal prices are quite a jump from the initial offer. I wish they had more transparent long-term pricing upfront, but overall, a good service for what I need.

Does SiteGround offer any kind of free domain name when you sign up, or do you have to buy it separately?

C Chris T. 3 months ago
Nah, they don't include a free domain name like some other hosts. You'll have to buy that separately or transfer one.

No free domain. You gotta register it yourself or transfer an existing one. That's one thing they don't do.

How do I make sure I get the big discount everyone talks about? Do I need a specific code or link?

S Sam B. 2 months ago
Usually, you just click through one of their promo links. The discount just applies automatically at checkout, no code needed.

Yeah, I just went to their site during a sale and the price was already discounted. You don't usually type anything in.

Hey guys, thinking about signing up for SiteGround. Does anyone know if they do monthly billing or is it all annual upfront?

C Cody 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure it's mostly annual. I haven't seen a monthly option for their regular plans, just yearly.

They do offer monthly on some higher-tier cloud plans, I think, but for shared hosting, it's usually annual or longer to get the best intro deal.

Anyone know if SiteGround is good for an e-commerce store, like if it's secure enough for payments and stuff?

B Beth 2 months ago
They've got pretty solid security features, including free SSLs and daily backups. I'd say it's good for e-commerce.

My store runs on it and I haven't had any issues with security. They also have PCI compliance info on their site if you need specifics for payment gateways.

Is SiteGround genuinely better than Bluehost for a new WordPress site? Heard mixed things.

S Steve R. 2 months ago
Yeah, in my experience, SiteGround is way faster and their support is a lot better. Bluehost felt kinda slow after a while.

I've used both. SiteGround is definitely more premium, especially for WordPress. Bluehost is cheaper upfront but you get what you pay for.
